Tribunal sacks Udom Emmanuel

According to leadership news,there was jubilation in some parts of Nigeria yesterday following the ruling of the Akwa Ibom governorship tribunal.

In its ruling,the tribunal headed by Justice Sadiq Umar ordered a re-run of the election in 18 out of 31 local government areas in Akwa Ibom state.

The APC governorship candidate Umana Umana had approached the tribunal challenging the conduct of elections and declaration of Udom Emmanuel as the governor of the state.
