According to Espn,the boxer will retire to a life of politics in his home country.The Announcement was made by top rank promoter Bob Arum after he had dinner with Pacquiao in New York last week to discuss the boxers final fight.
Pacquiao is currently a congressman for his Sarangani province but plans to run for one of the 24 national seats.
His opponent is not yet set.
