Jim Carrey's girlfriend commits suicide followig split

The Irish girlfriend of Hollywood superstar has been found dead in her apartment following relationship split.

The former makeup artist was found on Monday night already dead from an apparent overdose after a string of worrying messages she posted on social media.

Reports state that a suicide note was left addressed to Carrey with reference to their relationship break-up the previous thursday.

Blood Moon fast approaches

A red moon associated for centuries as an omen is set to cast itself across Britain.

The ' blood moon' thought by ancients to signal the end of the world will be visible early on Monday.At 3am it will coincide with a lunar eclipse,an event which occurs once every 30years

Some religious groups believe it is a bad omen.

The moon is made to look red by the effect of sunlight being scattered by the Earth's atmosphere.

They say it might be the end of the world!

Volkswagen Model Sales halted

Volkswagen model sales had currently been halted in Switzerland.

It is said the move could affect over 180,000 cars not yet sold or registered in the Euro 5 category.
This comes after Volkswagen admitted to cheating on emission tests in the US.


Mattew Mueller has now been named the new chief executive of VW after taking over from Martin Winterkorn who resigned on Wednesday

After his appointment,Mueller said restoring the company's reputation was his main priority.

The ban does not affect cars that are already in circulation or cars with Euro6 emission category engines.

It emerged that some VW cars sold in the US had devices in diesel engines that could detect they were being tested, changing the engine performance to improve results.

Transport authorities in other countries have announced their own investigations including Germany and the United Kingdom.

Sepp Blatter faces swiss criminal investigation

Swiss prosecutors are currently investigating Sepp Blatter who is the head of football world govering body Fifa.

Mr Blatter is said to have signed a contract that was 'unfavourable to Fifa' and making a 'disloyal payment' to European football chief Michael Platini.

79year old Blatter who has run Fifa since 1998 maintains his innocence.Fifa has recently been hit by a string of allegations.

According to the Swiss attorney general,Mr Blatter is suspected of paying two million swisss francs(£1.3m) in 2011 to Mr Platini.

Mr Blatter is due to step down in February and Mr Platini is widely speculated to take his place.

Mr Platini on his part,issued a statement stating funds received from Mr Blatter 'relates to work carried out under a contract with Fifa'.

The investigation is still ongoing.....

717 Pilgrims killed in Hajj Stampede

717 people were killed in a huge stampede in Saudi Arabia today.

It has been described as one of the worse ever tragedies to occur during the holy pilgrimage.

Several others were injured in the tragedy which is the second this year.The Saudi civil defence service stated the incident occured during the symbolic stoning of the devil ritual.At least hundreds of people were also injured during the stampede.

Russia exhumes remains of the late Tsar Nicholas and his family

Russian Authorities have exhumed the remains of Tsar Nicholas and his family in a bid to solve thier 1918 murders.

The Family who were killed by revolutionary Bolsheviks are buried in a St Petersburg cathedral.

Tsar Nicholas,his wife Alexandra,their four daughters,son and four royal members staff were murdered in the cellar of a house in Yekaterinburg in 1918.

The Romanov family were ousted from power and exiled in 1917.The royal couple and three of their daughters were formally reburied on the 17th of July 1998-the 80th anniversary of the murders.The couple and three of thier daughters are said to have been canonised by the Russian Orthodox church in 2000 while thier son Alexei and remaining daughter Maria are likely to be canonised before 2018.

Their remains is currently kept at the Russian state Archives.

Wenger married Annie in 2010,though they had been in a long term relationship before the wedding and have a 18year old daughter.

Bruce Jenner has since officially changed his name to Caitlyn Jenner as is now branded as a female.

Kim stated she discovered 'Caitlyn' dressed as a woman over 13years ago when her mum Kris Jenner was out of town.According to Kim,she was 11years old when she spotted her then step dad dressed as a woman full on with heels,makeup and a wig!

She kept the secret for a while until she was 30years and able to speak with 'caitlyn' about it.Even then she assumed he was a crossdresser and never knew he would actually 'transition'.
