A Black Transgender woman Kiesha Jenkins was fatally shot in North Philadelphia according to ABC6 Philadelphia.
The Crime occurred in a Logan park early tuesday morning.
Jenkins was dropped off in the area around 2.30am by an unknown driver. She was approached by five to six men,after a physical assault according to the police,she was shot twice in the back by one of the men.
Kiesha Jenkins was 22 at the time of her death and was a college student at Temple University.
The police are treating the case more as a homicide than a hate crime.Kiesha's killing will make her the 21st transgender woman to be killed this year.
A $20,000 reward has been announced on any positive knowledge about the incident.
